Stegi Polistimou of Nea Karvali, was founded in 1981, in Nea Karvali Kavala. In the summer of 1982 it creates it's traditional dance team, which numbers today about 120 dancers, all fans of the Greek tradition.

The dances it presents, cover all the geographic aereas of Greece, and Asio Minor, especially the songs and dances of Cappadocia. For the precise presentation of the Greek traditional dances, it now owns a collection of about 700 original Traditional Costums from all over Greece.

Today it consists one of the most well known dance group, with commendations and first prizes in Greece and abroad.
Some of the countries it participated are:
Germany, Denmark, Holland, Luxembourg, Italy, Poland, Turkey, Spain and Australia.
